CITY OF ART
Welcome to the City of Art
An innovative festival organized by a group of passionate young cinephiles. At COAIFF, filmmakers of all backgrounds and identities are welcomed to carve their own path in the world of cinema.
About us
The City of Art International Film Festival (COAIFF) is a dynamic, and stylish event that offers filmmakers and screenwriters the opportunity for global recognition and exposure. Located in one of the most beautiful and sophisticated cities in the world, Madrid.
Our festival program aims to reignite enthusiasm, foster healthy competition, and honor the resilience of talented film directors who have triumphed over significant obstacles to bring their extraordinary visions to life. Commencing with the "official selection" stage, participants embark on a year-long journey through quarter-finals and semi-finals, culminating in our annual event in Madrid in 2024.
Our mission is to promote, support, and provide filmmakers with the care and respect that many festivals tend to overlook. We are committed to ensuring that filmmakers receive the recognition and support they deserve.
The annual event is a source of great pride for us. Our commitment is to showcase our best works to a live audience in Madrid. At the annual event, we will award our unique City of Art Trophy to the finest works in all main categories. Interviews, buffets, and a diverse selection of outstanding films will await attendees. Managing an unforgettable annual event is our ultimate ambition.
